Welcome to the Living in Sync Podcast, I am your host Joelle Suess and on this podcast you are going to be hearing how you can live fully into the present moment of your life no matter what stage, season, or phase (of your cycle) you are in. I have been an accidental entrepreneur for over a decade. I have experience in direct sales, course creation, 1;1 nutrition coaching, and everything in between. For a long time I put myself into a box. At first it was at home fitness, then it was intentional productivity as a mom, then it went back to hormone health and cycle syncing, and now I am just sharing it all with you. I am going to be sharing solo topic episodes as well as amazing guest conversations about all the things. No matter if you are a stay at home mom, corporate climber, entrepreneur, or anything in between I hope you enjoy each weeks topics because it is going to be a blend of everything! Health, wellness, nutrition, and living in sync with your cycle will still be some of our highlighted topics but why do we have to be so obsessed with our bodies losing weight when life is so bountiful and beautiful. There is so much more to life! I am in the midst of evolving, changing, and challenging myself! If you are in for real life topics of conversation make sure you are following the show so you don’t miss an episode!

As someone in the health and fitness industry for over a decade I know that I wanted to create a sustainable, but semi-structured plan in 2023.
I first started out with knowing what purpose I wanted my workouts to do for me and that was boiled down to giving me more energy, supporting my mental health, and feeling strong! Once I knew the purpose and the feeling for me I resonated with a plan and strategy that will realistically work with my life. I am also focusing on progressive overload and being intentional in my strength training workouts to make progress. I've done strength training workouts always but just wasn't intentional with tracking weights and reps.

For the first time as a health and fitness professional I am happy to say that some of the trends I saw this year are LEGIT and we should bring them into 2023!
If you want to lose weight and keep it off forever these healthy habits are ones to implement!
1. Hot girl walks
2. Pilates/ Barre - deep core connection
3. Progressive Overload Strength training goals that have nothing to do with the scale or size.
4. Meal Prep that is nourishing and delicious! No more bland "bro" meals.

For years I have felt like my "success" hasn't measured up or I have been going backwards! I've had big dreams and goals with everything I set out to do and when things "fell short" I would feel like a failure.
Why is it I am not hitting the goals I was setting and with each defeat my mindset would spiral.
Now because of this book The Gap and the Gain I measure my life by a different standard.
I now prioritize an evening routine instead of a morning routine.

Do you feel low energy, moody, and crave junk all the time? I have talked with so many women that wonder why their energy, mood, and emotion is low and when you don't feel great that impacts every other aspect of your day to day and how you show up in your life.
This episode shines light onto two topics - high cortisol and insulin resistance - that are two factors that could be a cause of your low energy, mood swings, crazy cravings, and emotional regulation.
To join the Feminine Edge Collective and master these two topics for higher energy join us in December.

Today is a fun episode to lead us into the holiday season!
I was thinking about what holiday traditions I love and which ones I think are overrated - then I asked you on instagram to chime in and you guys gave me some fun topics to talk about!
I think the holidays can be special in every season, but with every season comes things that get easier and some things that get harder!
My hope is you set a great intention for this holiday season and settle into it! Be unapologetic about whats best for you and your family! Sending you love!
